Club open from 20th May

From the 20th May the club will be open for fencing for all members.

There’ll be an indoor fencing session from 7-10pm for all club members

Covid-19 – Junior classes back on 22nd April

Junior classes will restart on the 22nd April, in Twyford school sports hall. They will be the usual length of 12 weeks, running until the 15th July.

Covid-19 – Club back from 15th April

Thursday, April 8th, 2021

On the 15th April the club will be open for U18 fencing and lessons for adults.

There’ll be an indoor fencing session from 7-9.30pm for U18’s
Adults (and U18s) can have 1-1 lessons, from 7-9.30pm. These are 20 (or 40 minutes if there’s time) long, and will need to be booked ahead of time.
A booking request email will be sent out by the 10th April

Indoor fencing for adults is due to be allowed again from the 17th May, so our goal is to have a mostly normal club night on Thursday 20th May.

Covid-19 – Club suspended

Following BFA and Government guidelines for Tier 4, there will be no fencing at the club while we remain in Tier.

This applies to both adults and juniors

Covid-19 – Return to Twyford

Sunday, October 11th, 2020

We are back in our usual venue, Twyford School

Space is limited to a maximum of 42 people

The format of the evening is still experimental, for the 15th October there will be 3 pistes available from 7.10pm; and a further 4 pistes will be available from 8.05pm
When you book please state whether you want to fence from 7.10pm or 8.05pm, this will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you end up with a 8pm start time do not come before 8pm

If you can’t make it on the day, please contact us so that we can fill your spot from the a waiting list.

These sessions are prioritised for club members, we can only accept guests if there spaces not taken by club members.

Fencing 21st November

Next Thursday we will be in the assembly hall at Twyford as the school is using the sports hall. We will have to stop fencing at 21.30.

The main sports centre entrance may be closed so please enter via the car park.

Fencing 19th September

Update: We will have now access to our normal hall at Twyford.

We won’t have the full hall until 2000.

Fencing will be available from 1900 for adults but space will be very limited pistes for the first hour.

Parking will be very limited before 2000.
