Double bronze at Foil Team championships

Four Saxon teams competed at the recent British Foil Team Championships, two from the Men’s (one of which was combined with FCL fencers) and two from the Women’s – with the ‘Saxon/FCL Huscarles’ and ‘Saxon A’ both winning bronze medals over a tough days fencing!

The full results were as follows:

Men’s Foil

Saxon/FCL Huscarles – bronze

Saxon Theigns – 9th

Women’s Foil

Saxon A – bronze

Saxon B – 5th

The teams were as follows:

Saxon/FCL Huscarles – Ben Peggs, Christopher Mollard, Luca Valetti, William Price

Saxon Theigns – Nick Mort, Graham Forster, Francesco D’Aquino

Saxon A – Seville Babaeva, Gillian Worman, Oxana Mikhaleva, Erika Czerny

Saxon B – Charlotte Levin, Sophie Townsend, Fernanda Da Silva
